THE Himalayan mountain kingdom, doing tourism its own way. With a daily tourist tax of US$100/person, an airline duopoly, and indendent travel not permitted, visiting Bhutan is not cheap. This keeps the numbers down, and saves the country from some of tourisms downsides.
