STRETCHING FROM THE ANDAMAN SEA, 4,863kms through jungle and village and mountain and lakes, the frontier which separates Thailand and Burma contains some of my favourite parts of Thailand- if I haven’t said that about a few other areas yet!
Legendary places names like Three Pagoda Pass, sadness of the refugee camps and towns, the tragedy of Kanchanaburi, the border area contains history and culture and immigrant stories from centuries past and days present.
Mountain roads wind through forest, past farms and into little towns full of surprises, and keep me coming back.
