It took my close to 30 years and a wedding invitation to finally get to The Philippines, but less than a year to get back for a second visit. Having dealt with a few awful call centres in Manila, I was surprised how easy going and friendly everyone was. Sorry!
Philippines boasts 1000s of island, beaches and diving, varied cultures and tribes, volcanoes and forests.
Luzon’s ancient rice terraces are an incredible sight. A string of volcanoes and lakes run from near Manila to the tip of the island. Bohol, home to the world’s smallest primates, is as pretty as islands come. Cebu, famed for its diving has some cool hikes.
